The National Wounded Warrior Center will be a fully accessible, state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly facility located in Mammoth Lakes, California adjacent to Cerro Coso Community College.

The National Wounded Warrior Center empowers wounded, ill and injured servicemen and women by facilitating their transition into fulfilling civilian lives through education, rehabilitation, health and wellness.

The Center offers Wounded Warriors what they need to:

  • LEARN a new vocation
  • HEAL physical and psychological wounds
  • THRIVE in their new life!

Who is behind the National Wounded Warrior Center?

Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra is a volunteer-based nonprofit dedicated to changing the lives of children and adults with disabilities and their families by: offering year-round outdoor sports and activities, creating inspiring challenges, providing expert instruction and adaptive equipment, rallying the community to comfortably accommodate people with disabilities. We believe the freedom and exhilaration of outdoor challenges changes lives. No one should be left behind simply because of a disability!
