Each year, DSES challenges active duty and veteran athletes with disabilities on two weeklong adaptive sport camps in and around Mammoth Lakes. Participants may to bring a friend or family member to join them in these experiences as space permits.
A special opportunity for military athletes and wounded warriors to experience the exhilaration of adaptive snow sports including alpine and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in a supportive mountain community.
Each June, DSES invites wounded warriors and their families to camp for a week of summer fun. Taking advantage of paddling, cycling and mountain biking, fishing, and time around the campfire creates a memorable, inspiring week to reconnect and discover without the pressures of daily life.
Injured, ill, and wounded service members and veterans are encouraged to discover new sports and develop their skills all year long with DSES.
DSES is working on an initiative to establish a National Wounded Warrior Center to support military athletes with multi-faceted programs throughout the year. Learn more at woundedwarriorsmammoth.org
