Ride to Support DSES Athletes & Programs
July 19-25, 2021
You can be part of this summertime fun event by donating, or riding and fundraising.
- DSES Challenges Riders to Set a Cycling Goal and Ride Anywhere…even in their living room!
- Riders should fundraise and tell their friends about why they are riding. Raise at least $250 to earn a Sierra Cycle Challenge t-shirt with more great prizes the more you raise.
- Group Rides & Celebration on July 25, 2021. Join us in person for food, fun, and prizes.
Help DSES raise $75,000 to support adaptive athletes & programs! All Sierra Cycle Challenge proceeds go directly to DSES to help individuals with disabilities enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of outdoor recreation.

What is Sierra Cycle Challenge?
The Sierra Cycle Challenge is an annual summer fundraiser for groups and individuals who want to challenge themselves to ride 160 miles during July 19-25. This fundraiser raises critical funds for Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra.
How far do I have to ride?
We challenge folks to ride 160 miles but we encourage you to make your own goal for the week.
Can I still participate if I don't have a bike?
Of course! This fundraiser has traditionally been a bike challenge but individuals are welcome to do whatever is within their ability or goals.
Can I ride on a stationary bike or trainer?
Yes! Several of our participants last year met their challenges on an indoor bike and trainer.
What if I don't hit my fundraising goal?
Not a problem! Fundraising milestones exist to help encourage folks toward a goal. The goal represents what gift you will receive from DSES. We appreciate any support from challengers and no amount is too small.
